The Hybrid Games is Hybrid’s very own internal competition, and these sessions are designed for members who want to get competitive and push themselves to their limit! Members will compete in a multitude of disciplines from functional strongman, aerobic, anaerobic systems and strength qualities. Join your Hybrid coaches during lunch hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to participate in this high tempo training program. These one hour classes are perfect for those wishing to compete in the Hybrid Games, or those who want to test their strength, endurance, and cardiovascular capacity on a weekly basis.
Proper form is key, and this technique-focussed session will focus on the two events in Olympic lifting; the snatch, and the clean and jerk. These full body, compound movements will develop your coordination, improve your sport performance, increase your work capacity, and help you develop dynamic stability...all while transforming your physique. The class starts with movement preparation and mobility exercises for the specific lift being worked on, before moving into gaining more technical understanding and complementary accessory exercises.
